Role: Turnaround of an acquisition (Proffice) made by Randstad in 2016. Responsible for all the finance functions (financial/business control, accounting, AR/AP, payroll), Risk/Audit, Faciilties/Purchasing and Legal, managing a team of ~40-50 FTE.Achievements: 1) restructuring to lower head-office costs with ~30% 2) tight steering brought the profitability (EBITA) to 4.1% in 2020 vs 3.5% in ’19, despite a steep revenue drop. 3) Expanded BI tooling to allow for detailed steering of the company 4) Developed a mid-office to increase the commercial power and be more compliant 5) Engagement score of my teams increased (score 8.5, 70bp points above the company benchmark).

Role: Coordinate governance cycle of Randstad globally: group (strategic) planning and control cycle across opco’s and functions (budget, 2Y growth plan, monthly close etc). Performance management (with Executive Board) of (non) financial and strategic indicators for the Randstad Group, support relevant management in the interpretation of bottlenecks and opportunities and determine appropriate actions. Managing a multicultural team of 8 FTE.Achievements: 1) Organized multiple executive board off sites setting the strategic agenda, 2) Introduced BI tooling and RPA to streamline processes (closing went from 8 to 5 days). 3) Organizing multiple events/conferences to bring the global CFO community closer together. 4) integrated 7 acquisition into the global reporting process including ROI measurement (vs. business plan)
