During my PhD, my main scientific research was focused on growing, analyzing, and trying to understand the role of stress (intrinsic/extrinsic) in inducing the magnetic anisotropy in polycrystalline thin films deposited normally/obliquely where the long-range ordering of atoms and spin orbit couplings are absent. I used polycrystalline Co/FeCo films(or multilayers) as a model for our study. Through in situ real time measurements, I found a direct relationship between stress, magnetic anisotropy and morphology. I have also studied temperature-dependent changes in the magnetic, structural and morphological properties of Co/Ag, FeCo, Co multilayers, and Alq3/Co-related bilayer film and trilayer organic spin valve structures at beam-line P03 Petra III. I obtained one order high magnetic anisotropy in Co multilayer through a unique oblique angle deposition technique engineered by us. I was actively involved in GISAXS beam-line development at RRCAT, India. I also developed mini XRD chamber, thermal evaporator of organic thin films and thin film heaters.I got 9th rank in 12th standard board exam in Uttarakhand state board, India. I achieved 100% marks in maths.I play table tennis, cricket and badminton. I enjoy the workout at the gym.
