Working in an Acute and hyper acute care with key responsibilities including but not limited to • Conduct Physiotherapy Initial Assessments and Treatment interventions in both acute and hyper acute environments.• Document patient care interventions and formulate goals and recommendations• Plan and implement patient-centered, goal-directed treatment programs • Make recommendations regarding discharge and liaise with inter-professional team members as required.• Serve as a point of contact for weekend Therapy Assistants and provide Re-Assessment as clinically appropriate.

Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments by collecting relevant data from the clients.Determine the need for physiotherapy services depending on the condition and follow up of the appropriate referrals made.Develop tailored interventions with current evidence based practice. Appropriate communication about the treatment expectations to the client.Re-Assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments prescribed to the clients.Participating in the interdisciplinary team meetings and family meetings.Updating the interdisciplinary team with the client assessments, treatment plans, progress and discharge plan.Delivering hands on treatment, delegating and supervising the support personnel delivering the care.Accurate documentation according to the standards given by the College of Physiotherapists.
