Developed new features in Ruby on Rails including processing data from various feeds, and RESTful API calls for returning and storing these data. Tested with RSpec.

Developed new features for a Rails 5 API consisting of GraphQL and REST API calls that call other microservices, queue ActiveJob jobs and manage Postgres data. Defined JSON event schemata and swagger entries, etc. Wrote RSpec unit and integration tests, and swagger tests.

Developed new features for a web-based ordering system written in Ruby on Rails, including single sign on authentication and new APIs. Improved the UI’s performance and look-and-feel, and planned and began a Ruby and Rails upgrade. Also, configured application hosts and deployed code.
