 BIW Product / Process Structure development. Weld Gun Selection / redesign, Weld points study and distribution check Design of Geo, Re-Spot Fixtures, Grippers for Body Shop Application Special Purpose Machine design / Automation design for BIW Components. Selection of tools and standard parts for Jig & Fixture Design Design, Detailing and BOM Generation of Jig & Fixtures Preparing Design Validation Documents, Clamp Validations Selection of Materials and Heat Treatment Processes Selection of Machining Process, Surface Finish Selection of appropriate tolerances Familiar with 2D detailing checking of parts like weldment, Clamp unit, Pin unit, Dump unit, Base unit, Turn table frame and Slide unit Familiar with OEM Standards like GM, BMW, VW, PSA etc. Familiar with UG NX with Tool Kits & CATIA Process Sheet, Clamp plan and weld study of welding fixtures

 Development of Chucks, Hydraulic cylinders, SPM. . Preparing layout drawings. Create manufacturing drawings with the influence of GD & T. Making Design plan activity & bill of material for part to be manufactured and purchase. Material & Heat treatment selection. Work on Design change Request/DCM.
