Reported to the Plant General Manager with responsibilities for production scheduling, production planning, inventory planning/control, continuous improvement/benchmarking, billet procurement, scrap buying, process automation, external processing oversight, CAPEX activity and IT/PA functions

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with Company leaders to identify key strategic growth opportunities. Create well-supported proposals with specific recommendations that will enable Company executives to make go/no go decisions. These include the development of strategic rationale and high-level business case (market, competition, customers), as well as financial analysis.• Strategic Planning: Develop and refresh the five year strategic plan. Interface internally across functions and externally for market/competitive information to support data analysis.• Business Assessment: Manage the ongoing analysis and strategic assessment of the Company's businesses including competitive positioning, market trends, customer needs/behaviors, etc.• Tool Development: Lead the ongoing production and continuous improvement of strategic initiative scorecards as well as any additional analytical tools and frameworks to support Company leaders with their strategic decision making.• Communication Development: Lead the development of strategic presentations for senior executives• Team Leadership: Structure and lead projects with cross-functional teams in order to solve business problems and drive strategy and decision-making. Lead meetings, capture next steps, and ensure that cross-functional team members drive action items to completion.

To gain global and cross-functional experience, accepted a secondment assignment to Pt. Ispat Indo(part of ArcelorMittal group) as Manager of strategy. As a member of the Ispat Indo senior management team, primarily responsible for leading the ongoing development of the Ispat Indo strategic planning process and leading/facilitating projects and processes of a key strategic nature to the Ispat Indo Group. This includes guiding the annual strategic planning process within the management team, establishing and managing processes to monitor and report on implementation progress for the key strategic initiatives, coordinating the internal process for strategic justification of capex proposals(including preparing the IAC paperwork), monitoring the competitive landscape as well as many ad-hoc projects(benchmarking, continous improvement). Acted as liasion with the corporate strategy team in London. Devised forecasting models to come up with Short/Medium Term demand outlook to optimize the MRFprojections.

Headed up the PMO for a multi-plant, multi-year transformation project enabled by SAP. Also, responsible for vendor management, IT sourcing, Demand management and delivery assurance activities.

Was a member of the MIS executive leadership team with a role that was multi-faceted in Business relationship management, IT Strategic Planning, Enterprise Architecture, Budgeting, Project Management, Capital Expenditure planning, People Management and Vendor Management. • Led and managed a team of over 25 developers and architects.• Led systems integration and alignment effort between Qwest national network operations and local network operations. Consulted at: State of Ohio/Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Columbus, OH• Was involved in a turnkey project to design, develop and maintain the Child Support Enforcement and Tracking System (SETS). System has caseload of over 100,000 cases with over 3000 users in 88 Ohio counties.• Led the design and development of the interstate subsystem and it’s integration with the federal CSENET – Child Support Enforcement Network linking all states.

Client: GE Medical Systems - Americas and South-East Asian Operations(SEAPO)• Managed development of several enhancements in service and maintenance systems.• Chosen by management of GE Medical Systems and Wipro Systems to be a member of a core team to define process and launch offshore development center operations. • As the on-site Project Coordinator was responsible for Analysis & Design of enhancements, Production Support and coordination of offshore development.• Was responsible for business process definition and systems integration of Prospect, Quotation and Ordering Systems. • Primary responsibility was to study the design and implementation of similar systems in GEMS America and Europe & suggest the ideal system for the Asian operation. Worked extensively out of the Singapore & Hong Kong offices for implementation.

Client: AGFA AG & BAYER AG Leverkusen, Germany • Worked as a developer on the design, development of enhancements of the Production Information System (ISP) & the Marketing/Order Information System(AVIS).• Implemented the host language migration of 800,000 lines of PL/1 code to VS-COBOL II.• The original environment was IMS/DB, DB2, IMS/DC and PL/1 on IBM-3090. This system was migrated to an IMS/DB, DB2, IMS/DC and VS COBOL II environment. • Coordinated offshore development with German project team and traveled to Germany for requirements and implementation
