Managed the business development activities of the company. Key activities included: 1. Coordinating the preparation of over 30 Sri Lankan and Maldivian based tenders to government and international donor agency (World Bank, AFD, UNDP and ADB ) procurement guidelines 2. Coordinating all tender activities with foreign partner firms 3. Recruitment of experts 4. Tracking tender opportunities . In addition to these key activities I led the streamlining of the company Quality Management System to enable certification for ISO 9001:2015 and then supported the subsequent recertification process and maintenance of ISO status. In between tender deadlines I also project managed and supported top level management in various activities such as recruitment of in-house staff.

Sri Lanka

Project coordinated the Climate Resilience Improvement Project, Development of Basin Development Plans in ten river Basins in Sri Lanka, funded by World Bank, under the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources Management. This involved an array of tasks including contract administration, office management and maintenance, logistics management, budget management for the local LKR component, invoicing, management of local experts, event organisation for 18 workshops, quality control of deliverables, organising data collection and surveys, database management, and procurement of goods and services. I also provided technical inputs for the high-level environmental assessments of multiple Pre-feasibility studies. In addition to these key tasks, when possible I supported the in-house project management team with business development activities.
