API was launched with Android 8.0.Designed and implemented an Audio Nearby API to transmit and receive 1-2 bytes of information over “near-ultrasound” using existing mic and speakers on an Android phone. Also worked on a prototype to compute physical distance between two Android phones to under 1 cm accuracy. The API was launched with Google Play Services and was featured on WIRED recently.Designed and implemented a native (C++) peer-peer network stack for gaming on Android/IOS.
