I tackled real-world challenges and gained skills in forestry, natural resources, and wildlife data management. I became proficient with ESRI tools like ArcGIS Pro and Online Web Apps, as well as Field Maps, Survey123, and Trimble TerraFlex for compliance inspections under the Public Lands Act.In the Aggregate Program, I managed geospatial data for about 800 active aggregate sites in Ontario, using ArcGIS Pro to georeference site plans and digitize extraction layers. I improved the RIAU Story Map by adding interactive features and updated the ROD SharePoint site to enhance functionality and user experience.For the Forms Modernization initiative, I developed AODA-compliant prototypes to meet accessibility standards. I also participated in Career Speaking Events, learning about ArcGIS Online Products, GPS transmitters, and mobile data collection, and became familiar with data processing using Python for field technicians.
