* Develop plan of action in consultation with GMs & HoDs for issues related to improving performance targets and project milestones.* Screening/review of proposals before it is put up for administrative and final approval of CEO as per procurement & works policy and Delegation of Powers.* Monitor the progress of project activities, identify critical activities and outsourced activities. * Presentation on plant performance & action plans on short/medium/long term basis before the Board & Chairman.* Recognize potential problems, planning & provide solutions in consultation with HoDs in Operation and Administrative functions.* Compliance to audit queries and appropriate reply to ministries within time.* Coordinating with all levels of functional management and manage external & internal correspondences on CEO’s behalf.* Presentations on action plan for meeting performance targets & proposals with justification seeking approval of the Board. * Attend executive meetings & prepare minutes, drafting letters to secretaries, CMDs, CEOs, Executive Directors, etc. Draft speeches & take care of high level of PR with appropriate discretion.* Identify and understand issues, problems, determine corrective action in consultation with CEO and ensure compliance to statutory requirements* Independently explores, analyzes, and make recommendations regarding a variety of information from internal and external sources.* Perform variety of assignments as and when required in technical and administrative activities.* Propose and co-ordinate training programs/meets for officials as per requirement.
