* Design, Develop and maintain Data engineering pipelines which serves data for Domino's Data science and ML use cases * Lead the efforts to transition from legacy Hadoop framework to Greenplum + s3 model* Successfully integrated Confluent kafka platform to read, process and deliver real time data for global GPS and other delivery/retail data. Navigated the legacy VB code to fix issues and successfully completed the implementation. This project resulted in potential gain of 4.2M new address for delivery. Responsibilities including requirements gathering, Design, Development, Validation, Launch and support for application involving, IBM DataStage, oracle, AWS tools, snowflake and Apache NiFi• Extracting data from Operational data store with incremental processing and load data into IBM Datawareouse Model. • Extracting structured and unstructured data using Hierarchical stage to perform huge volume of data processing for loan processing system. • Worked on a project which implemented Alfa loan processing system and flowing the data in to datawarehouse. • Worked in Datastage migration project from 8.7 to 11.5. Also migrated database from 11g to 12C. • Extensively used SCD and CDC stages to load type2 data into Relationship and Fundamental tables in IBM warehouse model. • Worked extensively in datastage sequences and logically segregating the flow as needed for the data movement. • Developed frameworks like Auditing and Reconciliation in datastage and used them for validating data in production. • Worked on migrating onprem data to AWS cloud solutions. The work involved setting up data lake in S3 and perform transformation from landing to S3 final. Also involved data movement from S3 to Snowflake and dynamo DB. • Used tools like S3 event, AWS glue, Athena, EMR (HIVE) solutions to perform transformation to data in s3. • Integrated onprem files and DB data to S3 using Apache NIFI. • Also used NIFI to integrate with EMR HIVE to perform query transformation on s3 data. Also used HIVE to perform partition in S3 and store data as parquet. • Worked in Ctrl-M scheduler to schedule Datastage sequences and NiFi flows.
