As an Engineering Lead at PhotoGAUGE, I work on an end-to-end pipeline that transforms images or videos from commodity cameras and smartphones into accurately scaled 3D scans and automatic measurement reports. I leverage my skills and expertise in Photogrammetry, Computer Vision, Computational Metrology, Data Science, and Agile Project Management to deliver innovative and robust products and services for engineering measurements. I also manage the core technology development team, the hardware and software integration, the quality assurance, the customer account management, and the technology demos.My passion for creating cutting-edge solutions for complex engineering problems stems from my academic background and previous work experience. I hold a Master of Science by Research degree in Engineering Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where I conducted numerical simulations on tire and snow interaction using coupled FEM-SPH method. Before joining PhotoGAUGE, I worked as a Senior Engineer at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, where I was involved in the product development cycle of the rear axle, from design, feasibility, and manufacturing to handling field issues. I performed design calculations and automated them for various child parts of rear axles, and used Finite Element Analysis and Measurement System Analysis to optimize the design and performance.
