Work Experience - 14 Years and 04 Months inApollo Tyres Ltd, Chennai Associate Manager – PCR Technology Industrialization of New Products for OEM’s and Domestic/Europe for PCR Plant.  Industrialization of New Products for various OEM’s like Ford, TATA, Maruthi Suzuki, Toyota, KIA motors, Renault Nissan, Hyundai, VW-Skoda.  Conduct feasibility study for tooling & equipment for new product.  Preparation of Project Tasks and Project Timelines.  Preparation of specification for the product, components and its sub-components for the product in SAP and issuing it to manufacturing.  Plan and coordinate for the OE sample submission trials to meet QCD parameters.  Technically support for the submission of PPAP.  Plan and coordinate for the pre development project like DULRR, Ultra Low Noise, Electrical Vehicle, Airless tyre etc.,  Indoor testing of new products and compile the test results for the further improvement.  Applying for product Homologation certificates like ECE(European), BIS(domestic), GSO(Gulf countries) etc.,  Reduce NPI lead time by releasing the NPI’s on time.  Analyze the cross section in order to meet the product layout during the proto trial.  Release new products on time with CFT sign off.  Improve the OE product yield through scrap reduction projects.  Part of CFT for handling customer complaints and analyzing the route cause.  Development and Implementation of system in Technology to comply requirements of IATF and OEM CSQSR.  Develop standards for designing new products for FTR. Key results and highlight Released around 10 OE Products to regular for customer like Hyundai, Skoda-VW and KIA Motors.  Released around 15 products to regular for Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) in domestic market within 3 months.  Developed sizes with Stringent Uniformity specification and proved with good Uniformity yield for customers like Hyundai, Skoda-Volkswagen and KIA motors.  Achieved Product Yield of 95% within one month of size NPI release for key OE customers.  Industrialized Ultra High performance (UHP) tyres with speed rating of W and Y for Domestic Market.  Reduced the sidewall lightness and shoulder lightness defects through QCC Methodology.  Reduced sidewall complexity by 20 % in the plant.
