LaVision offers standard and dedicated customer designed Laser Imaging Systems for reactive and non-reactive flow field analysis and fluid mechanics applications, Intelligent Imaging Systems for non-destructive material testing, a range of high-performance cameras (CCDs and intensified CCDs) and smart optical sensor systems. The LaVision has extensive professional experience in Laser Imaging Spectroscopy and optical techniques such as Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), Absorption and Emission Spectroscopy, Raman, Rayleigh and Mie Scattering, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Spray Analysis, Digital Image Correlation (DIC) techniques as well as ultra-fast time-resolved imaging and high-speed image recording. I am responsible for their business in India and South East Asian regions.

Velocimetry portal is an online center for Laser Flow Diagnostics Techniques (PIV, StereoPIV, MicroPIV, NanoPIV, High speed PIV, PTV, LDV, PDPA, PLIF, ILIDS, PSP etc). This portal is being developed to provide as much information as possible about the Laser Flow Diagnostics Techniques in a consolidated manner. The portal includes Basic Principles, Applications, Discussion forums, Links to 'Links'. Continuous efforts are taken to put together all the present and possible applications of these techniques. The portal also provides a comprehensive collection of annotated links to information related to Laser Flow Diagnostics Techniques. Velocimetry portal hopes to become as the reference centre for all queries related to Laser Flow Diagnostic Techniques.

* Establishing “INNOLAS“as a brand to all the researchers and the system integrators. * In-charge of setting up the application lab @ Innolas SEA office.* Penetrating into new avenues/ areas -> diversifying the applications (for Scientific: PIV, LIBS, LIDAR, PLIF,LDV and for Industrial: Laser marking, trimming, Solar cell Scribing, spot welding, diamond cutting, ablation etc.)* Collecting the potential customer database, system integrators.* Laser Applications support.* Technical / Applications support to exclusive and non-exclusive distributors.* Responsible for Innolas Lasers (Scientific and Industrial) business -> regions covering India, South East Asia, Oceania, Japan & Korea.

* In-house PIV setup development.* Developed successfully the In-house PIV system * Developed innovative PIV acceptance test (with the help of LOLIGO Systems, Denmark).* Incharge of Non-contact measurements (Thermographic Phosphor Thermometry, Hot wire Anenometer, Pyrometer, Thin film thickness measurement, wafer curvature, Laser doppler vibrometer)* Performing research on PIV for the application of Semiconductor wafer fabrication

Nature of Business:The Laboratory is to conduct research into selected areas of science and technology critical to Singapore's requirements, such as Experimental Aerodynamics. Temasek Laboratories also assists Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) in coordinating and promoting NUS-MINDEF research collaborations.Job Profile:Position: Associate ScientistProject: Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma Actuator for Aerodynamics Control using PIV• To perform research on proposed innovative topics.• Worked on Plasma Actuators.• Preparation of standard operating procedures for the experiments.• Involved in performing the experiments, data acquisition.• Analyzing the acquired data and evaluation of the findings.• Implement new programmes to improve internal work process efficiencies.

Job profile:• Evaluation of new market areas for scope of market expansion.• Clarifying to the customer about the products and services.• Discuss with customers and get to know about their requirements.• Providing customers with the product to meet their requirement. • Providing technical support to customers – during both pre and post sales.• Compilation of Macros and application-related programs.• Providing training to customer and dealers on the usage of the camera• Capable of independently performing the installation of CCD cameras along with Image acquisition and analysis softwares (like Image Pro Plus, AutoDeblur, InVivo, 3D Constructor, IQBase).• Able to handle CCD/EMCCD cameras of Qimaging, Photometrics, Lumenera and Media Cybernetics make.• Hardware Integration of CCD cameras with Microscopes (Nikon and Olympus) and staging unit (Prior scan)

Mainly I was working on the field of Laser flow Diagnostics techniques. I am the first person to develop the Stereo Particle Image Velocimetry in India. I have developed my own Scheimpflug Adapter for Stereo Imaging in order to avoid focusing issues.
