Heading the Small and Medium business (SMB) segment of PayPal India along with Business Marketing responsibilities

Part of founding team of India Domestic. Program Managed the Launch and PayPal's entry into India Domestic Business.

Responsible for defining and running strategic initiatives for the Indian Development centers that develop global products for PayPal. I worked closely with the leadership team to define and program manage the initiatives across the areas of customer, business, culture and engineering. Also, I supported Business Operations in engagement initiatives and process improvement projects. Received "Star of the Month" award twice within 15 months of joining, as I could make impact through a number of priorities for the centers.

Led a team of 20 managers and 250 employees to manage a daily production of 30 million cigarettes/day.__________________________________________________________________________________Achievements:Recognized with Outstanding performance for leading the transformation of unit, which was beset with challenges of recurring labor issues and active unionism- The unit achieved all-time best performance in the key indices of quality, cost and productivity- Modernized the plant by executing an INR 800 million plant and machinery project - Negotiated optimal-crew with labor unions for new machinery introduced first time in company - Received accolades from the Company Chairman for initiating and leading innovation drive- Achieved first-time certification for integrated management standards (ISO) of quality, environment and occupational health - Made the unit 100% self-reliant in energy by conceptualizing projects including a Wind Energy Project

Planned and executed infrastructure and sustainability (wind energy) projects worth INR 500 million for the biggest cigarette factory in India__________________________________________________________________________________Achievements:Led INR 200 million project to set-up a 66KV power supply system that connects the factory to state power grid - Ensured project continuity by addressing concerns of local villagers during Cable Laying- Avoided time overruns by liaising and obtaining approvals from 10 different statutory authorities - Worked with more than 30 Stakeholders including turnkey vendor ensuring no cost overrun Designed and implemented heavy-equipment replacement and layout modification project in tobacco process plant- Planned and executed INR 200 million project within 7 days with nil loss to production Instituted training processes and supported team in designing and implementing the manufacturing execution systems for ITC’s newest cigarette factory - Designed Interactive Training Manuals that are used to train more than 100 associates
