Arun is a passionate technologist with over twenty years of hands on experience designing, architecting and developing large scale enterprise software products and solutions. An engineer by training, who is well versed with the cutting edge emerging technologies, Arun also has the unique ability to zoom out and see the big picture and the underlying business drivers. His vast technical expertise coupled with business acumen enables him to deliver impactful technical solutions solving complex business problems. Arun has provided thought leadership to many organizations, large as well as entrepreneurial, to help them leverage technology to achieve their business goals. Prior to Cloudlex, Arun was Senior Director-Technology at Source HOV, a $600 MM technology and business processing outsourcing company serving Fortune 100 clients with a diverse portfolio of technology services and enterprise software platforms in various verticals including, Legal, Publishing, Healthcare, Finance and Accounting. At HOV, Arun managed a team of 200+ software engineers and spearheaded technology strategy, design and development of large scale enterprise solutions. He was also instrumental in designing, operationalizing and automating workflows for HOV’s global publishing businesses where he was responsible for crafting solutions for clients such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw/Thompson Reuters, McGraw-Hill, to name a few. He also designed and developed a big data technology platform for content authoring, editing, storing, formatting, transforming and rendering; operationalizing a repository of 70 million documents over a cluster of multiple production servers.Arun holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from Engineering College, Indore, India and a Masters in Marketing Management from Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, India.
