I managed a team of 25 people - editors, producers and graphicdesigners to deliver daily as well as campaign promos for Times Now. During my time there, we managed to lower the attrition rate of the team as well as bring in on-air efficiencies by creating shorter 10-20second promos that saved up on-air inventory as well as increased recall of the brand.

During my stint at NDTV, I produced on-air promos for news channels of NDTV, which involved overseeing promo production from concept and script to the final promo. Here, I honed my skills on using visual metaphors to create maximum impact in short format content within the cluttered space of TV news.

Zee Sports was a fascinating place for me to be. Our team was a group of sports buffs making content for a sports channel. Some of the seniors in my team were well travelled gentlemen, from whom I learnt a lot about how India watches sport and how to sell sports.

This job was my first attempt at moving from a technical profile of an editor to that of a producer. With my mentors in the organisation, I was fortunate to have learnt the ropes of managing entire promo production from concept, shoot to finish during these years. The honing of the craft would happen in the years that followed. My initial two years as assistant producer at Aaj Tak, taught me the ropes of the news business and the process of selling it through promos. I was promoted after this period and independently produced on-air promos for Aaj Tak and Headlines Today, which involved collaborating with the editorial team on a daily basis for scripts and promo requirements, coordinating with the graphic designers for graphic inputs, editing the promos & sound designing. Additional responsibilities included management of post - production of the series.

Editing 'The Auto Show' and 'India Business Day' for CNBC India.

Editing programmes like- "State of the Art', "Business' and 'Crime’ and also Switching for news.
