I am the co-founder and CEO of The New Factory. We are a worker-owned fashion recycling lab on a mission is to reduce landfill-bound textile waste and promote a circular fashion industry. We partner with industry to collect, sort, and upcycle their textile waste into merchandise, fashion products and new recycled materials.Prior to starting The New Factory, I worked as policy professional with a focus on financial inclusion and financial sector development. I worked in international organization such as The United Nations and The Jameel Abdul Lathif Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) based at the Department of Economics at MIT.I hold a degree in finance from School of Business and Management (SBM) ITB and a master's in comparative politics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
