•Portfolio Management: Lead for the Gender Responsive Climate Finance Window and supporting the Design Funding and Market Acceleration team in managing regional programs such Asia Climate Solutions Design Grant, providing early-stage catalytic grant capital for the design and launch of innovative blended finance vehicles focused on the intersection of climate change and gender equality in emerging markets globally. •Due Diligence: Conducting technical and financial evaluation of proposals applying for design stage grant funding to design various financial vehicles using blended finance structuring approach and different archetypes including guarantees, technical assistance and concessional capital.

•Portfolio Management: Led operational & financial due diligence, negotiation, and business growth analysis for Women-led Businesses (Women Venture Program)–Demonstrated a socially responsible, high impact & sustainable debt financing model for women entrepreneurs by providing business development services (BDS), advisory support and debt financing of up to C$2.7 million. i) Successfully supported over 100 women-led businesses with business development and technical assistance & ii) Extended concessional credit to 35+ such businesses, managing a committed portfolio of ~C$3.6M.•Deal Structuring (Credit Guarantee Facility): Conducted comprehensive financial due diligence & analysis, securing board approval for a C$1.4m credit guarantee facility by a foreign development group. The facility provided default risk coverage for the portfolio of women-led SMEs and Green Transition projects.•Project Management: Successful executed and managed multiple innovation challenge rounds overseeing projects such as innovative cash-flow based credit risk scoring model. Entered a C$1 M risk participation facility to offer loans to SMEs identified using the credit scoring model. Facilitated sunstainable solutions for efficient plastic waste management, water management, and clean air. Extending C$1.4M as concessional credit.•Strategic Partnership: Established a strategic agency agreement with a wholly-owned subsidiary, enabling a debt swap arrangement for restructuring of credit facilities totalling ~C$400,000.•Stakeholder Management: Collaborated closely with legal counsel to structure agreements with WLB and Green Transition SMEs, ensuring compliance and favorable terms.•Research & Analysis: Conducted extensive research and developed thematic concept notes for challenge rounds including initiatives for accelerating women entrepreneurship in Pakistan through e-commerce platforms.• Budgets, Reporting & Documentation, Post-Investment Monitoring and Business Development Initiatives.

Conducted a detailed analysis of the portfolio’s financials to explore the opportunities for asset securitization. Developed the digital lending model through exploring tri-patriate arrangement with other financial institutions and Fintechs, contributing to the institute’s strategic growth.• Deal Execution: Prepared credit proposals and conducted rigorous financial reviews and presented recommendation to the management committee for approvals, ensuring well informed decision making.• Monitoring, compliance, and governance: Conducting on-going monitoring of microfinance institutions through actively visiting their premises to access fund utilization and identify areas of improvement in operational practices and governance. Utilized internal rating system to evaluate borrower’s credit worthiness, preparing and finalizing borrower ratings.
