As a graduate research assistant, I was involved in web crawling many biomedical, and healthcare data like from Medline, PubMed etc. and applied quantitative/qualitative analyzes including statistical analyses in R. As part of it, I also built multiple machine learning and predictive models for finding author similarity using logistic regression, author clustering, pairwise occurrences of Medline mesh terms, collaborative role taxonomy using in Java and Map Reduce.

During the internship, I parsed and analyzed variety of unstructured data to find patterns, customer sentiments, event correlations to identify improvement factors for better client service leveraging text analytics, NLP hosted on AWS environment.

As a software developer, I was involved in development and data analyses using big data technologies, Hadoop framework and Java Developer. I contributed to the big data product development, ensuring usability, and conducting client POCs. As part of my job, I also demonstrated the product to many clients and enhanced the application based on client feedback. I specialized in text analytics algorithms, and machine learning algorithms and data engineering in Hadoop Ecosystem - Hadoop, Hive, Pig, NoSQL - MognoDB.

Training at Infosys involved many technologies and languages like programming in Advanced Java and Big Data with implementation and execution through small projects.
