In my current role, I assist SMEs in claiming payroll tax credits (ERTC and R&D payroll tax credits) by enhancing internal processes to ensure accurate and timely claims. I review customer submissions, educate customers on the claim process and work on continuous development of internal processes to enhance our customer's experience of using the Justworks platform.Experience in leading client engagements and working on multiple international and indirect tax projects. I have reviewed and prepared Canadian personal, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns, and advised clients on tax planning and compliance issues. I have also delivered tax training sessions to junior staff and colleagues.I have a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, where I also completed a Minor in Entrepreneurship. I am a CPA in the Canadian province of Ontario and I am working towards my CPA in the State of New York. I love working in teams to accomplish common goals, and I am always open to challenges and new opportunities in the accounting and finance industry.
