At TVM my goal is to assist producers to create content that informs the student body of the issues affecting the McGill and wider Montréal community by providing them with tools and resources necessary to accomplish this task. I am also responsible for producing equitable, thoroughly-researched and relevant community news pieces pertaining to McGill student life and integrating the issues into the broader Canadian context.

As a committee director with McGill Model United Nations I assisted delegates with research, resolution writing and provided detailed revisions of draft resolutions. Furthermore, I assisted the Dais in developing interesting and creative crisis situations based on thoroughly researched historical events, in order to stimulate the delegate’s ability to respond effectively and efficiently in unpredictable circumstances.

As a logistics coordinator with FOKUS Film Festival I was responsible for organizing and overseeing the details related to operational logistics leading up to and on the day of the event. I was responsible for contacting local businesses to support the festival and the pre-selection screenings. Furthermore I was involved in creating the grading schemes by which the films would be assessed. I was also involved in distributing promotional materials in order to publicize the event through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

My goal at College Montrose Children’s Place was to engage with children and caregivers in order to create a comfortable, safe and friendly environment that fostered learning and creativity. I also assisted with administrative functions such as handling internal correspondences and carrying out reception duties as well as organizational tasks.
