After more than 12 years of managing software projects, 2021 was my turning point to pursue my career satisfaction in the world of programming.Usually, project managers and development teams are on two different sides of every software project. PMs are crazy about organizational needs and stakeholders' expectations of the project while development teams only see the technical aspects. During my long journey, I did my best to really understand development concerns, and technical limitations, and also tried to transfer organizational and business concerns to the development teams.In fact, I didn't want to work in a team that project managers and developers are constantly conflicting without trying to understand each other's priorities and interests. During these 12 precious years, I attended every planning and demo meeting of dev teams, worked with more than 6 different teams, and learned a lot about technical issues without being an actual programmer. But 2021 was the year I tried to change my point of view in practice. I tried to become a programmer and see the world from the eyes of a developer. Now, I'm a full-stack developer and by knowing the two worlds of management and programming, I think I have reached a stage of peace between the two. Good or bad, I have been working only on ASP.net projects. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone and become a full-stack JavaScript programmer. Being a MERN developer was my choice and thanks to Strive School, I finally reached my goal by learning Mongo DB, React, Express JS, and Node JS, and I want to say hello to my new world.
