Cathay Pacific was using the PeopleSoft 8.3 which has been upgraded to PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0. The scope of this project is to upgrade the Cathay Pacific PeopleSoft HRMS 8.3 to PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 and apply all the customizations which are present in old system. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESI have worked on Global Payroll part of this project. My key responsibility was to analyze client’s legacy system’s customization with functional consultant and implement the same functionality in PeopleSoft 9.0 system. My responsibilities included, analyzing the legacy system customization and map the same functionality in new system and do the impact analysis so that it will not affect the new functionalities which were either not present in legacy system or at present not used by client.

My responsibilities included the creation of Component Interface and test data, upload the test data on test environment via ExcelToCI tool and analyzed the results.Project Name: PeopleSoft Sustain & OptimizeXansa (now taken over by Steria) is an IT outsourcing and BPO Company based in U.K, having over 18,000 resources working in U.K and India. PeopleSoft 7.5 was implemented in 1997 to handle to HRMS activities. The production support and customization of the application to suit the HR needs are done by the PeopleSoft S&O Team in India (Pune). My primary responsibilities were as below:All techno-functional activities related to PeopleSoft HR system.Requirements gathering, design, analysis, customizations and testing of customizations.Production Support. Bug fixing.Mentoring the junior team members.My key achivements:Prepared a number of complex SQRs for reports and interface for uploading data to & from PeopleSoft system.Customize the CLS (Call Logging System): It is a tool for U.K and India HR users to raise the calls. Work flow was implemented in CLS by creating worklists and automated emails.Customize complex pages like Health and Safety panels having the scroll level up to level 3. PeopleCode was used extensively for the validations on the panel.Amendments were done on primary component like JOB and Personal dataWorked on WorkFlows for number of business needs like Probation Period, Call Logging System, work permit expiry, tax and travel etc.
