As a civil engineering graduate from UTAR, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in designing, planning, and managing construction projects. I have also developed proficiency in various software tools, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office, which enabled me to create and present engineering drawings, reports, and proposals.During my four-month internship as a site engineer at Miracle Land Holdings Bhd, a property developer in Pahang, Malaysia, I applied my engineering skills and knowledge to various tasks and challenges on the construction site. I was responsible for inspecting, supervising, and coordinating the work of the main contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring that the quality, safety, and compliance standards were met. I also prepared and submitted daily and monthly site reports, and troubleshooted on-site issues to the best of my abilities. Through this experience, I learned how to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and solve problems creatively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.I am always eager to learn new skills and languages that can enhance my professional and personal development. I am currently looking into enrolling myself in Mandarin speaking class, as I believe that being multilingual can open up more opportunities and connections in the global market. I also have a basic knowledge of C++, a programming language that can be useful for engineering applications and simulations.My goal is to pursue a career in civil engineering, where I can apply my passion, skills, and knowledge to contribute to the development and improvement of the built environment. I am looking for opportunities that can challenge me, inspire me, and help me grow as a civil engineer and as a person.
