I am a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in various accounting and finance roles. He is currently working as an Accounting Consultant (Free Lancing) in an auditing firm handling GST (GSTR1 & GSTR3B) for clients and maintenance of their books of accounts since February 2018.Arvind's previous experience includes a ten-year stint as a Senior Accountant at Novartis, where he was responsible for the end-to-end process of the Vision care (Contact lens care) business unit, revenue recognition, intercompany accounts, and import remittances. He was also in charge of vendor and employee payments, corporate taxation, fixed asset management, and payroll accounting. Arvind has a track record of delivering initiatives such as the implementation of Employee self-service portal for travel & expense management called as TnE, successful training of over 450 employees on TnE and implementation of Fixed Asset Maintenance software known as FAMS.Prior to Novartis, Arvind worked as an Account Payable Specialist at APC (India) Pvt Ltd, where he handled Accounts Payables of rupee transactions, daily updating of books of accounts in Tally, and monthly statutory requirements such as TDS returns and sales tax returns.
