Project: Retail Management System, Inventory Management SystemDomain: Telecom Billing Applications: Order Management Inventory Management (OMIM), Retail Management System (RMS), Mobile Sales Assist (MSA) , Guided Sales Tool (GST)Order Management and Inventory Management (OMIM) Application is a logistics application in Sprint business. Order Management Inventory Management (OMIM) is used for order management and inventory tracking. OM is an order management system used by RMS, AMSS, and Mass Upload to create and manage orders. 80% of total orders are driven through the OM, but only 40-50% of total volume. IM is a web-based inventory management tool that supports the Sprint logistics organization in managing handset and accessory inventory. It supports both the warehouse and store level inventory. Warehouse function is outsourced to UPS. Warehouse function does logistics functions that OM/IM supports such as Management of serialized inventory, Kitting, Reporting, Management of VMI, Returns management.Retail Management System:Retail Management System is the Sprint PCS point of sales application. It is utilized at the Sprint PCS retail stores to record the purchase of handsets and accessories. The Retail Management System (RMS) application provides the capability for completing transactional sales of Sprint PCS phones and accessories. RMS allows the retail sales representatives the ability to create a customer account, retrieve customer information/sales history, complete sales without accessing customer information, create sales quotes, run credit reports, and check inventory levels. RMS provides the ability to obtain accurate field and corporate reports by means of already established report templates. RMS provides the ability to perform detailed summary reporting, specialized inventory tracking, timely data feeds, multiproduct support, sales roll-up, remote access, return processing, inventory adjustments, and return merchandise tracking.

The queue-based workflow allows for users in different areas of the country to simultaneously work on processing customer orders that are in different stages of the fulfillment and activation lifecycle.Order Verification Module (OVM) defines a set of tables i.e the main Ensemble table listing all the services available for Sprint’s various customers. The Ensemble table is the starting point for the validations that determine whether a service is applicable for a customer or otherwise. The orders processed through FAST that includes OVM and TOES are tracked under Real Time Order Tracking OTMThe purpose of the project is to place various orders i.e New phone, Add-On, Upgrade the phone or price plans, Replacement, Multiple Order Type (MOT), New Activation Only (NAC), Add-On Activation Only (AAC), Accessory Only , using order Entry Applications like TOES , WebSales , Customer Aisles and verify orders are routed as per the FAST process flowMiddleware Application: The EAI is a middle layer application between the back end systems and front end applications. The back end systems include billing and number management (P2K(Converges), AMDOCS,PLS and NMS). The EI database contains wireless customer and account data replicated from the back end systems, and also serves as a system of record for other services. The purpose of this project is to decommission a billing system and convert the customers of that billing system to a new billing system.
