• Responsible for reducing in Service Affecting Failures thus ensuring the safe, punctual and passenger comfort train operation.• Looking after of Train Operation (Crew Management) and Depot control operation.• Responsible for preparation of Failure Analysis Report after scrutiny of incident/accident investigation reports.• Organize mock drills to improve staff knowledge, skill, effectiveness, responsiveness and behavior training.• Conduct safety drive to sensitize Train Operators about safe and efficient Train Operation.• Conducting Train Operator’s competency training and refresher courses to sharpen their knowledge for fault troubleshooting.• Roster and leave management of Train drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES DURING OPERATIONAL/TESTING(PROJECT) PHASE Manages smooth real-time Metro operations across the network (including both Depots). Supervise and control the train movement on the main line by utilizing variouscomputerized tools to ensure train adhere to predetermined schedule, monitor themovement of trains on the ATS( Vicos OC 501) console. Liaise with train crew team leader and depot controller to ensure availability of trains andtrain crew to cater for unexpected incidents/events. Direct station Controller/in charge and train operator during incident and emergencies,monitor passenger level at platform via CCTV system and regulate the service to mitigatecapacity problem and overcrowding. Manage and ensure continuous Train-monitoring is carried out effectively to provide thebest possible assistance in case of any deviation or diversion from the normal operationalplan.  Testing and Commissioning of Complete ATS (Automatic train supervision) VICOS OC 501system. Managing the working of Operation Control Centre (OCC) including Time-TableManagement. Fault troubleshooting of Onboard ATO/ATP system and all Rolling Stock failures. Introductory knowledge FTGS and basic Signaling. Permit to Work coordination with Maintenance activities during Operation shutdown (NonRevenuehours). Setting routes for trains manually and Incorporating TSR’s, skip stations, caution Ordersalong with punctuality in train services. As Depot controller coordinate with train controller for train insertion and removal andadditional special train service. As Depot controller prepare weekly train plan for schedule maintenance of Train & itsstabling in Depot/Mainline. Coordination with OCC Chief Controller & Other OCC controllers e.g., Traction powercontroller, Fault Controller and Security Controller during Emergency and Normal conditions. Escalation of incident/accident report OCC Manager/other operation Manager.

STATION CONTROLLER• Station controller at Back-up Operation control centre along with Interlocking station.• Management of BEMS system at station.• Controlling administration and house-keeping at station level. 2. TRAIN OPERATOR• Train driving in ATP & Non-ATP modes.• Train troubleshooting during revenue hours.• Testing of Rolling stock and Signalling i.e., ATP.
