Education and Employment : UG and PG from the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and fellowship from Mahatme Eye Hospital , Nagpur. Ex – Paramilitary. Presently working as an Additional Professor and HOD at All India Institute of Medical Sciences , Hyderabad. Areas of interest are – Cataract, Glaucoma, Refractive&Cornea, Squint, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Medical Retina. Experience of nearly 20 years as a Teacher in Medical Colleges and mostly at All India Institute of Medical Sciences.Scientific Societies and Presentations : Member of over 20 International , National and State Ophthalmic Societies including ESCRS , AAO, AIOS, GSI , ISMSICS ,IPGS, DOS,ROS,HOS,TOS,POS,UKSOS, ACOIN ,ROSI and IIRSI. Chairman ARC, ROSI, Asso Secretary FOTI and Executive Member of ISMSICS. Presented over 500 Research Papers at International , National and State level Conferences and Webinars. Invited as an International Faculty by SICSSO, ESCRS and as a National Faculty at many National and State Conferences. 7 times live surgery at National and State Conferences. Experience of organizing two National – level Conferences , many CME’S and Webinars.Our Innovations : Our Team had developed the World’s first Annotation Tool for faster and accurate image – labelling of common Retinal Disorders. We had also developed the – “ Modified Terminator Chopper” for hardest of the cataract, “ Disposable Sewing Needle Microcapsulotome” to avert Argentinian Flag Sign. Corneal – Endothelia friendly “Morya’s Technique of Nucleus Hydroexpression” in MSICS .Publications and Editorial Posts : Over 100 papers and many chapters in Pubmed Indexed and non-indexed Journals and Text Books. Editorial and Reviewer Board Member of WJCC, EC-IJOVS,AIMDR,JHOS,JUKSOS,GJCSRO,DOS Times,WJG,WJD,Clinical Ophthalmology etc.Section – Editor in our prestigious Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and had Reviewed 500 Research Articles.Awards : First Ophthalmologist all around the Globe to be conferred the most prestigious – “All India Ophthalmological Society Senior Achievement Award” &“International Ophthalmic Heroes of India”. First Indian Researcher to won the “Ophthalmic Star Award” at ESCRS, Amsterdam.Conferred many Oration-Awards by many National and State Societies.Awarded “Gold-Medals” by IIRSI,ISMSICS,ROS,ACOIN.
