I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer, gained experience in Design and Manufacturing of Power Transformers in class of 765KV. I worked on the process and identified the bottle necks in the flow of the process. I proposed two changes, one in the purchasing and other with the scheduling of winding section. The changes were implemented for one order to check the effectiveness. The cycle time reduced by 15%. Then performed time motion study for all the sub process and proposed standard time for the each process to increase the productivity. I also worked on various sites for erection and commissioning of the power transformers and reactors.I worked as tendering engineer. I collected data of the previous government tenders for each region. I also went through the data from the proposed ten year plans. I proposed a set of orders to be targeted to gain maximum profit with the present capacities and other constraints. We as a team also formulated tenders based on proposed design and helped the company in successfully obtain record breaking order of 80 reactors from Indian Government.
