Worked on cost optimization projects in machining passenger and heavy clutches, where I got opportunities to implement DFMA practices in casting process at the supplier end. Supported in new product development and quality problem solving in casting components with supplier development team. Worked with Lean Manufacturing team for improving material handling in machine shops and assembly lines, where I had an opportunity to understand practical application of lean manufacturing principles. Worked on QCD mapping of machines using SPC methods. Installed digital SPC system in Machine Shops and supported in Quality, IATF, EH&S, Lean Audits and obtained insights about SPC systems in process control.Worked with Business Intelligence Tools in monitoring BU metrics and reporting to senior management for monthly review. Had prior experience in MS Excel, and Power BI Desktop tools.

Worked on internal quality problem solving as part of Shop Floor training, where I learnt about industrial practices in problem solving using PDCA, and Fish-bone analysis. Exposed to small projects in cross functional teams including Product Design, Sales, Tool Design, Lean Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering.
