In my current role, I work as a Solutions Architect in the SDN space. My primary focus is on helping engage with customers in a pre and post sales role in highly competitive environments with Cisco SDA and Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) with a secondary focus on all things Cat9000, Nexus 9000 and merchant silicon. I keep busy with: - Proof of Concepts and large scale roll outs for some of Cisco's largest customers- Competitive escalations and bake-off's- Openstack integration - Development, design and execution of new services to enable acquisition of net-new revenue/market share- Web scale datacenter and campus design, including compute, virtualization, storage, security and load-balancing - Time critical rollouts for new campuses, datacenters, migrations from legacy Cisco and competing products - Professional services field enablement- Too many internal initiatives to name here
