Worked at Client's location on Winphoria Motorola's Wireless CDMA Softswitch stack. Winphoria developed CDMA Wireless Soft switch, a device capable of separating the call control and signaling capabilities of a voice and data network from the call switching capabilities. The CDMA Wireless Soft switch separates the call control functions and call switching functions of a Serving Mobile Switching Center into a Control Switch (Media Gateway Controller) component and a Media Gateway component that can be co-located or distributed. In either case, the two components are connected via a local or distributed IP connection and communicate using Media Gateway Control Protocol V1.0 (MGCP).Responsibilities:• Responsible for developing new and fixing existing scripts in python to automate those scenarios for the interoperability testing of Motorola Soft Switch-CDMA with other network entities. • Regression testing of Soft-switch in a simulated environment to ensure the behavior of switch for various features. Also responsible for verification of various features and Billing records.• Analyze the defects if the behavior of switch changes as expected according to ITU specifications. • Test data preparation for interoperability testing of Motorola Soft Switch-CDMA with other network entities.• Use purify tool for Memory leak related issues in the code.
