Part of a very small Product management team. I expanded from technical work to include focusing on the impact of the technical work on the product. Own the complete fuel economy aspect of the platooning as a product manager and a subject matter expert. Wearing these multiple hats has allowed to exercise robust decision making with a strong grasp on trade offs. Developed software requirements for front end and back end of a webapp to display fuel related information to customers. This was informed by multiple conversations with different levels of customers and incorporating their feedback into the product development process. Developed a new pricing strategy for revenue generation around fuel savings provided through platooning. Identified multiple new revenue streams and product features for future development and created business cases for prioritizing the new opportunities.

During my time at Roush, I revolutionized our testing abilities by introducing script based automation. This helped us scale our testing time from 6 hrs to over 16 hrs a day. I also created multiple data tools that processed data efficiently with an effective UI helping quickly communicate testing results to clients and create optimized calibration in a fraction of the time that was being spent. My responsibilities include Leading test plans for development and calibration of high horse power gasoline engine in a dynamometer test cell Analyzing and processing data that is presented to clients Troubleshooting issues in test cell setup or in the engine control architecture to find workarounds or solutions. Building tools for data processing to make analysis more efficient. Analyzing data from test vehicles that support calibration efforts. Automating test plans to improve throughput and reliability.

As the Combustion performance and Emissions engineer, I was responsible for: • Running test cell setups of IC engines on dynamometers controlled remotely to operate at different conditions with/without automated tests. • Collaborating with test ops technicians and laboratory technicians to effectively conduct tests to acquire high quality data.• Leading test plans and created procedures to tune/calibrate different operating modes in an IC engine.• Analyzing data for quality, repeatability and utilize the data for the calibration procedures. • Spotting anomalies in data and troubleshot issues in the test cell setup• Understanding the tradeoffs of different levers of tuning to make the calibration more robust• Producing an effective and robust calibration that meets the different requirements while satisfying the boundary conditions and with mechanical limits of the system.• Communicating analysis and results during presentations within the team, within the company and for customers.
