About Arvind Nilmadhub

Arvind Nilmadhub is an economist by profession and is the Founder and Director of the entities of Afribrains. He has several years of senior management experience, including at the Board of Investment of Mauritius (now known as the Economic Development Board of Mauritius) and also in one of the Top Groups in Mauritius. Arvind has also cooperated on consultancy projects for the World Bank and UNDP. He was also involved in the formulation and implementation of the Strategic Plan of several private institutions as well as local and African business expansion projects, namely in Madagascar and Kenya.Arvind was previously a committee member of the Investigation and Disciplinary Committees of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. He was also a member of the International Consulting Economists’ Association (UK). Arvind holds an MSc in Applied Economics and a Joint Honours degree in Statistics & Economics. He has accumulated additional knowledge through a wide array of professional trainings, including training on Blue Ocean Strategies. Arvind is also the co-founder of Platform Africa, a high-level forum for discussion on the role of Mauritius as a platform for Africa.
