 Responsible for Intercompany activities for multinational company have presence word wide. GL recharge, journal, trade payables, budgeting & accurals.

 Prepare, post or review daily and monthly journals for deposits (like FED WIRE, Book Transfer Credit, CHIPS, Cash Deposit, EFT etc) received in the bank. These entries are prepared as per backup support from the admin team. Review or post journals for moving money to or from suspense accounts, offset entries, ad-hoc journals, correction journals etc. One of the most important work is month end tasks, i.e. preparing reconciliation and filing it on or before SLA and taking appropriate action on open items(RTR process). The month end tasks are as below:-1. Intercompany accounts balance should be coming to zero. Most of the time it’s required investigations and need correction entries. Need to make sure these hundreds recs are filed on time.2. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Expenses reporting package that included analysis of key business trends, and budget versus actual variances and analyze data to define and measure meaningful metrics that helps in business decision-making.3. Policy loan accounts reconciliations are manual reconciliation where admin data is compared with ledger balances. These require extra care as any mistake will lead to wrong conclusion.4. All recs are prepared and maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and submit as per SOX requirements. Maintain aging spreadsheet to keep track of reconciliations and aged items. Working on couple of reporting task which are published in the blue book, a legal requirement for the insurance company in the US (NAIC- National Association of Insurance Commissioners). Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports, production of commentaries and information packs to satisfy the needs of the Management. Helping in reviewing Bank Reconciliation. Ensure all the activities due at the time of monthend close are performed on time maintaining accuracy. Consistently monitoring the progress & productivity of the peers and reportees.
