I am a Machine Learning PhD candidate in the Causal Artificial Intelligence Lab @ Columbia University, supervised by Professor Elias Bareinboim. My research interests include theoretical causal inference, reinforcement learning, agent foundations, and game theory. I am interested in aligning AI with human values.I am very comfortable addressing audiences of diverse backgrounds, expertise and seniority. I thrive in environments where I get to pursue and develop fascinating connections across domains.I was recruited to Citibank's Management Association Programme after my undergraduate degree at NTU, Singapore. My roles at Citibank covered Consumer and Corporate Banking, eCommerce and Fintech.Other areas of passion: - Languages (I speak 6 with varying fluency)- Effective Altruism, a movement using evidence to improve philanthropy- History, non-Western philosophy, Sci-Fi- Amateur translation of poetry in Classical Chinese, Sanskrit, Pali and Tamil
