Developing novel state of the art cosmetic formulation (color and non color) using Micro Powders unique efficacious ingredients. Developing novel test methods to justify performance versus known gold standard of the cosmetic industry. Preparing samples for the Trade shows and also preparing Presentations / training documents for the internal sales force.

Teaching a course in Fall 2014 semester " Cosmetic and Dermatological Formulations and Technology" to Pharmaceutics Masters program students.

To upgrade existing formulas and to develop new personal care , skin care and color cosmetics efficacious formulation bases.

• Ability to Identify state of the art cosmetic raw ingredient / active / disruptive technology and to incorporat at appropriate level to deliver first to market consumer perceived benefits product with patent application. Effectively Interact with Consumer science, Physical science, Bio- science, Clinical departments to get claims via existing test methods as well as made a request to develop new test methods to generate first to market novel claims. Filled product pipeline by creating POP, use appropriate packaging, justifying via consumer use test, making pilot batch and global marketing product approval. Share technical knowledge and lead technology teams in R & D. Scout cost effective yet efficacious new raw materials to enhance significantly ongoing product performance and also worked on cost reduction initiative where possible. Reviewed competitive patents on semi-annually basis to keep color department up to date with future fashion / technology trends.Delivered every two year first to market (super hit) color cosmetic products which generated $ 15 - 40 million in revenue accompanied with patent support.

Responsible for creating/developing new formulation bases with patent application. Interface with Toxicology, Regulatory, Clinical, Microbiology, Packaging, Fragrance, Pilot Process and Consumer science department for successful product launch on deadline. Organized vendor technical presentation to scout innovative raw ingredients. • Delivered patent pending Beyond Color Vertical Lift Foundation with AVC10 to lift the sagging Jaw lines.• Created in-house dual polymer system which provides long wear, transfer resistant properties to the face and eye products as well as shine to the lipstick products.• Managed to invite five suppliers to bring novel ingredients as well as future fashion trend presentations.

Work mostly independently/when necessary under guidance of Sr.Manager to carry regular business projects for eyes, lip as well as facial products. Worked on various product form includes:• W/O, O/W emulsions, face powders, foundations, concealers.• Mascaras, Eye Shadows, blushes , lipsticks, lip-gloss, lip powder etc. • Performed competitive review of entire color category on ongoing basis
