1. To direct, manage and lead footwear development team of managers and senior developers for all footwear development projects for Running/Training and Goretex styles within one factory group from tech pack receive to mass production.2. To review and give comments to HQ regarding seasonal calendar and give direction to factory and development team to ensure all project developments follows delivery timeline, by ensuring materials are order on time to give factory enough time to build samples for Line freeze and 360.3. To review and ensure factory and development team follow-up on material test reports and fit/wear testing 4. To review and give direction to development, material and costing team within the product operation center to check and review cost breakdown (focus on material, construction and process) and make cost saving calculations (if over target) to meet category and board margins.5. To review projects in-store-dates and product lead times to establish appropriate order windows to ensure on time production delivery by giving direction on any pull-forward projects and production level-loading if necessary. 6. To ensure the development team is maintaining accurate information in the system with regards to workload, accurate production of origin, bill-of-materials, last and mold data and sign-off product buy ready.7. To lead any new compound development with T2, work on new concept or machine to make new and innovative product.

1. Direct responsible for research and development team of 4-8 footwear developers across multiple factories and categories for Running/Training, Kids and Golf from tech pack receive, through Line Freeze and 360 to Sealing status confirm and Commercialization, within established timeline.2. Manage development team workload and assign projects to multiple factories at the start of each season.3. Manage team performance and category performance in terms of on-time delivery, consistent product quality, Bill-of-Material update, product lab testing and on-target costing (CBD).4. Coaching team performance at individual level based on mid and year-end review and suggest appropriate trainings.5. Supervise junior development team and working with suppliers to generate new ideas, materials and components for enhanced product creation and innovation, including assist on production quality issues. 6. Monitor factory performance in terms of on-time delivery, product development ability, proactiveness, claim record.

1. Assist and contribute ideas for product design, construction, materials, compounds and components to enhance functionality, aesthetics, fit, and profit margin. Serve as the technical & manufacturing resource for Product Line Management, Design and World Cat team members. 2. Generate a technical development package to communicate intended construction and aesthetic details of each project. 3. Work with Tooling Team and Design to Sign off on all blueprints prior to opening sample molds. 4. Examine all prototypes to assure all specifications are correct and within product cost target. 5. Prepare and update project status reports and the Product Range Management system (PRM). 6. Achieve timeline milestones to assure development process and prototypes are progressing properly through daily communication with World Cat and HQ team members. 7. Coordinate the fit & wear testing at appropriate prototype stage with the Product Testing team. Evaluate the feedback and implement revisions to World Cat from early prototypes to final sample stage. 8. Checking and release of Production Red Tag samples. 9. International and domestic travel as required to achieve a high level of product and component development, including visits to manufacturing countries / factories to assist and review commercialization and production on key product.

1. To work with designer, material coordinator and Product Line manager on seasonal footwear development projects by supporting technical footwear construction and manufacturing process knowledge to create tech pack before hand over to Asia development team.2. Frequent trips to Asia to work directly with the Asia development team by enlengthening stay in China and Vietnam to work on initial samples and prototypes for Merchandise review, Line Freeze and 360 meetings. 3. Frequent trips to Boston/USA (Puma North America HQ) to present and review changes with designer and PLM at Merchandise, Line freeze and 360 meetings4. Frequent Round trip from Germany to China/Vietnam, then to Boston/USA and back to Germany.

London, England, United Kingdom

1. Leading UK product development from initial design stage to overseeing product creation process in the Far East by working closely with UK designer, product manager and Asia development team to ensure product is manufacturable, meet minimum quality standard and design intention and target price (FOB) whilst also ensuring the product stays at the forefront of innovation.2. Responsible for footwear technical support to UK cross-functional team/designer with regards to material selection, upper pattern and mould/tooling construction/options.3. Creating tech package which includes product/sample request specification, 2D CAD drawing with cross-sections and target price information and send to Asia development team. 4. Reviewing/amending/confirming 2D drawings and 3D rapid prototype models of new outsoles, midsoles and uppers sent from Asia. 5. Signing off sales confirmation samples prior to production by confirming material, colour swatches and sample quality.6. Conducting local fit/wear testing to ensure correct fit and sample performance and make corrections as necessary by sending feedback to Asia development team. Responsible for any new last development by working with local last manufacturer.7. Confirming sample cost break downs sent from Asia to ensure sample meet target price (FOB) or make suggestion how to lower the price by reviewing different material options, patterns, yield efficiencies and mould/tooling constructions. 8. Establish UK seasonal footwear critical path/calendar by considering sample and mould lead times and critical delivery dates. Responsible for keeping good relationship with Asia development team, factory and suppliers by conducting factory visits/development trips, whilst also reviewing samples, two times a year.

Bangkok, Bangkok City, Thailand

1. Leading product creation process in Asia which normally starts with receiving a product specification/sample request, 2D design drawing/CADs and a marketing brief from Nike WHQ in USA. 2. Reviewing tech package with factory staff and cross-functional teams and make construction/pattern suggestions as appropriate to meet project objectives. Responsible to convert a 2D/CAD drawing to a first sample proto-type that meets the design and that can be profitably commercialized and effectively produce in bulk production. 3. Making sure that material arrive on-time and that all samples and materials have been lab-tested to meet minimum requirements and category performance standard.4. Responsible for sample inspection and decision making process that leads to on-time salesman samples and product confirmation delivery by continuously reviewing and evaluating project status with product creation team.5. Plan and execute development process within set timelines according to footwear development critical path/calendar and target FOBs (cost/pair) provided by WHQ and by utilizing data management tools to effectively and appropriately update/achieve project objectives/goals.6.
