Project initiation, scope definition, team hiring, project plan preparation, specification preparation for consulting bidding.

Spearheaded initiatives of the entire department, formulated a strategy for an IT organisation, and performed analysis for new Microsoft license model. Developed Office365 migration plan to cloud and signed a contract with the supplier, which resulted in reduced operational cost for MS licenses by 20%.

Spearheaded a fixed telephone support team to ensure prompt and exceptional service availability in Lithuania. Conformed to predefined standards and accordingly led all aspects of the project including team coaching and management, budget controlling, setting a strategy for a fixed voice in Lithuania, and managing vendors’.• Optimised service division headcount by 15% through performing analysis for fixed voice division "as is" model, preparing proposal for division optimisation, and building a service model based on ITIL methodology.• Prepared and led a technology enhancement project for DSL service with an aim to successfully increase internet service sales by 10-15%.

Directed a technical infrastructure team in Philip Morris EU affiliates by transforming an IT organisation. Achieved customer satisfaction and enhanced operational efficiency by ensuring service quality and stability, as well as modifying affiliate infrastructure in EU region at Philip Morris in alignment with the standards focus on process improvements. Fostered and maintained congenial relationship with associated IT organisations in the EU region.• Minimised physical servers by 40% as well as reduced total expenses by 20-25% through leading servers' infrastructure virtualisation project across Philip Morris EU affiliates.

Headed project management activities as well as all aspects of the IT function in line with the organisational policies and procedures. Designed and deployed project portfolio management system and project tracking system (PMI methodology) to analyse and manage proposed projects based on numerous key characteristics.• Steered a team of 12 personnel with four direct reports and monitored performance to improve productivity.• Implemented change management process and leadership program throughout the organisation and guided development of a local successor, resulting in achieved top 25% results in an employee opinion survey, 2011.

Held oversight for a budget of CHF15M. Supervised local Philip Morris personnel as well as landed and offshore IBM IT teams. Provided support for the HR systems portfolio (SAP HCM) with 20,000 users and facilitated global template deployment for PMI worldwide. Led coordination of both the project management office and the service management office. Managed daily IT function extending to strategic planning, budgeting, staff management, and operational plan execution. Monitored and supervised all activities of outsourced vendors.• Managed the successful establishment of a best-in-class support organisation and implementation of new processes including procedures for the project management office. • Leveraged ability to develop and coordinate a fluid cross-border network to ensure optimum project performance despite solution complexity, a new environment, communicating with counterparts/stakeholders in different countries, and managing an outsourced team in India.

Managed SAP project technical team of 20 personnel in areas of programming and data conversion, coordinated communications with HQ, and oversaw technical infrastructure. Steered the IT planning process for Philip Morris Russia including budget, operational and long range planning, and reporting.• Directed the successful deployment of the global template into an affiliate organisation overcoming complexity of local legislation and operating with an inexperienced team.• Drove quality, productivity and security enhancements across the IT function extending to new policies and procedures as well as process optimisation.
