-Handled and observed approx. 130 surgical cases including appendectomies, cholecystectomies and hernia repairs, port caths etc.-I collaborated with the team of nurses and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes.-Assisted and observed surgeries -Presented cases of the patients in rounds-Presented on colon cancer and case studies in the conferences -Learned about suturing and knotting techniques from surgical technicians.-Besides that, I also learned how to prepare the patients for surgery.-I Learned about sterility techniques from nurses in OR.Learned about anaesthesia and learned how to take care of patients post operatively under the guidance of anaesthesiologists and anaesthesia assistants.-I actively participated in preoperative assessments and postoperative rounds where I honed my skills in patient evaluation and management
