It has been almost 4 years since I have started my career as a Software Engineer. As an Engineer I am very passionate about my work and always looks for an opportunity to improve my work and grow as an individual. That's exactly why I appreciate my journey at my current company. Mostly I have experience with enterprise applications built with .NET (C#). This involves communicating to a variety of firmware devices through various protocols such as Modbus, RS232, TCP/IP etc. Now I am well versed with MVC & MVVM architecture , C# , WPF, OOP concepts such as modular programming, design concepts like Inversion of Control.I have also got the opportunity to work on a Class B medical project. This allowed me to gain hands on experience with Qt (C++ & QML). I have employed layered architecture in this project so that the hardware communication layer, application layer can be easily modified or can be even replaced. This one also involved knowing Linux in a deeper level, device enumerations, Yocto bitbaking, library cross compilations as the target system was an ARMv8 machine with Yocto running on.I do have experience in full stack web development and deployment as well. I am proficient in Angular framework , ASP.NET & MongoDB. I have made responsive web designs only using HTML & CSS. This application also had support for video call which was facilitated through Vonage APIs. Timezone conversions and multi-lingual support were other highlight features in which I devised algorithms to make the code more maintainable. I have worked with Nginx and Docker to deploy this application on AWS Cloud instance.The small size of my team allowed me to take ownership of the whole project and even manage and take responsibility for the whole team & project. Starting from requirement analysis, architecture design , risk analysis and to deployment I have had involvement. Constantly communicating with clients and understanding their requirements, other project management tasks all provided me with more insights on how to work in such an environment. At this point I can tell you with examples from my career that I am easily adaptive & a fast learner.
