During my internship in July 2023, I focused on conducting a range of Active Directory attacks, including Golden Ticket attacks, Silver Ticket attacks, and DCsync attacks. These offensive techniques provided invaluable insights into potential vulnerabilities within Active Directory environments. To ensure a comprehensive analysis of these attacks, I set up an Active Directory pentesting lab. This lab allowed me to simulate real-world scenarios and understand the potential risks that organizations face. I took meticulous care to log all the activities generated during these attacks and forwarded them to an ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack for centralized monitoring and analysis. This approach allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how attackers operate and the importance of proactive security measures in safeguarding against such threats. My internship experience provided me with valuable knowledge and skills in both offensive and defensive security strategies, enhancing my capabilities in the cybersecurity field.
