Aryah is a passionate Morehead-Cain Scholar, Honors Student, and freshman at the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. He is avid at programming, having achieved proficiency in three languages, all self-taught. From leading his school’s speech and debate team to presenting arguments in mock court—Aryah is also a keen public speaker. He is also quite well-versed in the economics of education and believes in the idea of harnessing education as a way of reforming developing nations and economies. Coming from the Bay Area, Aryah is passionate about entrepreneurship and founding startups. He is currently working on a free, online platform with an AI coaching system that gamifies life in order to help people achieve their goals faster. He is excited to continue this work at Chapel Hill. Outside of school, Aryah loves to play water polo on his school team, swim, weight-lift, hike, and box. At Carolina, he is studying business administration, computer science, and philosophy, politics, and economics.
