I am characterized by my relentless ambition, altruistic nature and strong conviction that my purpose in life is to uplift others and make a positive impact on the world. I graduated from USC with a degree in Music Business and was granted the Music Entrepreneurship award, which I learned was only given to one graduate every year. Upon graduation, I was less inclined to work within the cutthroat music industry in Los Angeles, and instead gravitated towards using my skills in the sustainability/renewable energy sector. My first jobs out of college were with Greenpeace, then Solar City. At my solar sales job, I met a senior aerospace design engineer who had created the concept of a two-story, lightweight, modular, off-grid tiny home that could be taken anywhere. I was immediately inspired by his dream of disrupting the housing and construction markets while changing the world for the better. In that moment, I knew that this was my path - that providing tech-driven, affordable housing to people around the globe was the way in which I could fulfill my purpose.Soon after, we became co-founders and I went on to create Wilderwise as a company and brand. I designed the website, grew our team, found our first investors, developed business strategies, established a following, and sold our first homes. After my co-founder passed away in 2020, I took on more work than I had ever imagined such as managing an entire engineering team and working closely on product design and development. The company is now at a tipping point, with our vision for reshaping the housing market on the brink of becoming a reality.In the midst of this powerful journey, I’ve also started supporting another startup business - Lucid Strategies. In collaboration with my friend/colleague/fellow founder, we are helping B2B medical device companies reach greater heights with highly strategic marketing techniques. My operational and project/product management expertise is adding value in new ways, thus expanding my reach and potential. This unique career path has strengthened my commitment to personal integrity, social responsibility, and environmental protection. It has enlivened my passion for the outdoors, building community, and fighting for equality and equity for all.
