ARVP is a student-led engineering design team at the University of Alberta; the goal is to design anautonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) to compete at the international RoboSub Competition. • PCB Layout and design work for ArcTos and MiniBot, our AUVs going into RoboSub 2025• Set up an on-the-go network solution for wired and wireless connectivity with DHCP, DNS, and internet forwarding for simultaneous local and external connections during RoboSub 2024.• Filtered, labeled, and trained several machine learning models on >10k images for AUV computer vision object detections.• Management and monitoring of Li-ion/po batteries during AUV testing sessions.• Improved and updated existing PCB layout and design for subsystems used in our AUV.

• Protoyped a CNC machine for precision cutting of styrofoam blocks to increase production for concrete formwork.• Designed and implemented Human Machine Interfaces using Vijeo Designer, SoMachine, and custom automation scripts in Java for real-time production visualization, critical system alarms, and operator dashboard.• Configured Ethernet/IP control in Codesys for servo motors and drivers in industrial steel and wood panel production.• Created schematics using EPLAN for automation solutions, incorporating power distribution, control, and I/O while maintaining comprehensive design documentation such as calculations, and technical specifications.

• Performed comprehensive inspections on water, sanitary, and storm utility infrastructure for repair assessment.• Coordinated project timelines and resources, ensuring on-time delivery and effective stakeholder communication.• Replaced paper-based inspection methods with GIS focused digital reporting processes, improving databasemanagement and doubling inspection efficiency.
