Established and manage new Electrical & Instrumentation division, heading a team of engineers, supervisors and technicians responsible for delivering EPC projects. Having implemented a business growth strategy, I now provide oversight across sales, marketing and pricing activity while personally leading high-value contracts across cement, aviation, railways and port management sectors.Key involvement also in the manufacture and construction of floating mooring systems, breakwaters, jetties and berthing facilities for leisure and commercial craft following development of pioneering partnership arrangement.

Working with clients that included the Royal Navy of Oman and Sarooj Construction Company, I performed a varied role where I was managing major accounts, promoting multiple company brands and increasing market penetration to drive up business for specialist maritime products. These included navigation aids, marine furniture, industrial equipment and painting equipment. I also was instrumental in the supply and installation of three different lighthouses. Working internationally to manage a supply chain reliant on imports from Europe, Malaysia and India, I delivered challenging projects that exceeded business targets and supported product portfolio expansion across the region.

My key focus was to identify new business channels for a range of technology solutions that included video-on-glass, holographic imaging and 3D mapping.Instrumental in transforming company into a complete one-stop shop for home automation and hi-tech products while expanding product portfolio and building demand for demo office product trials. Also successfully registered company as first official authorized distributor for Control 4 and Leaf products in Oman and achieved the distinction of becoming the first US certified and authorized Application Engineer.

Promoted widely to major EPC contractors and introduced products at front-end engineering design stage to consultants in order to build brand awareness and market traction. This was critical in transforming the commercial success of ‘failing’ projects and driving up sales by 35% YOY.In addition, I liaised internationally with Europe, UAE and India to drive forward projects and source products. This included introducing three different flame arrestors for desert environments and executing the first non-destructive testing project that led to a subsequent major shutdown project contract.
