Research Assistant - Medicaid Provider Access Project
Current- Work with a team of students and preceptors from OSU and TAMU.- Study the importance and problems of provider networks, including inaccurate directories, network adequacy, and consumer inequities.- Assess the experiences of Medicaid consumers, looking at differences based on rules, rural areas, and consumer backgrounds.- Use a large-scale Secret Shopper Survey in 6 states to understand what patients go through to get medical appointments.- Aim to inform state and national policy on network regulations and consumer protections, helping with bipartisan policy discussions on insurance coverage.
