“Yup, that’s me!”This is my reply when people attach me to one of the many hats I choose to wear on a daily basis. I have been doing improvisational theater since 2006 and have used it in the many aspects of my career as a performer and facilitator. With my pioneering group, SPIT Manila, I have performed in festivals all around Asia and the Americas and received improv education in New York City. Currently, I work as a program designer and facilitator for Third World Improv, an institution SPIT Manila founded, that is dedicated to both performative and applied improv for personal and inter-personal development in the workplace. Aside from performative and applied improvisation, I run a podcast called “Tawa, Let’s!” and create video content on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ranging from storytelling, comedy, ideation, findom, and music.
