I am an accomplished, qualified and experienced teacher with over fifteen years of professional teaching experience in London. Alongside my teaching, I have also been working as a private tutor working in private households. In my tutoring, I have chosen to focus on working with primary school aged children, ages 6-11 years. I am currently working with several children prepping them for the 11+ exams. I have also successfully prepared children for the 7+ exams. I also recently worked with a Year 3 child in a home-schooling role, supporting with homework and consolidating the day’s learning. I strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks in all the subjects that I provide tutoringMy approach: I focus on increasing the confidence of the students I work with through my patient, professional and friendly manner. I tailor each session to the individual’s personality, interests and needs to ensure they enjoy learning. I also aim to promote self-discipline with the students that I work as being able to work independently is a key ingredient for success. I fully engage with the students I work with and help them to become confident and independent learners.
